Wakeland won the girls title with 37 points, followed by Reedy (41) and Liberty (89). The scores are compiled from individual finishes on each team, so the lowest total wins. In the boys competition, Wakeland won with 50 points, followed by Reedy (51) and Liberty (83).
Reedy’s Colleen Stegmann repeated as the District 9-5A girls champion, finishing the race in 18 minutes, 1 second. Reedy’s Wyatt Wingard won the boys race with a time of 15:42.9.
The Region II Cross Country Meet will be Monday, Oct. 28 at Jesse Owens Memorial Complex in Dallas.
